Lincoln Theatre Auditions
Current Students will audition in class on April 5

Incoming Students can audition in person by appointment on April 5 or submit a video by April 15.

In order to be considered for Boxed In Theatre Co, you must audition live on April 5 and to be cast, will need to attend the callback the next day, April 6.

Beginning students do not need to audition for Drama 1

BEGINNING NEW ACTOR
Incoming student, new to the Lincoln Theatre Program, any grade level.
No acting class experience
  • ​Fill out the audition form. ​
  • Submit an audition video only if you want to be placed in a higher level of acting than Beginning Drama.
  • You will automatically be placed in Beginning Drama if you submit your audition form and don't submit a video
EXPERIENCED NEW ACTOR
Incoming actor, new to the Lincoln Theatre Program, any grade level.
Currently in an acting class where you are now.
  • ​Fill out the audition form.  ​
  • Submit an audition video only if you want to be placed in a higher level of acting than Intermediate Drama.
  • You will automatically be placed in Intermediate Drama if you submit your audition form and don't submit a video 
EXPERIENCED CURRENT ACTOR
Current student, already in a Lincoln Theatre Program class. 
  • ​You will audition in class, you will either move up to the next level of drama or stay in Advanced if that's where you are.
  • You could be called back for Bitco. You will indicate this on your Audtion form.
Theatre Technician
Current or incoming student, all grade levels.
  • Incoming Technicians need to fill out the Technician application and we'll put you on the list for placement in the class. 
  • Current technicians will move up to the next level or stay in the advanced class if you requested the class on your course selection.
  • Current technicians who didn't request the course but now want to be in the class, fill out the Technician application.
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION FORM, ATTEND THE LIVE AUDITIONS ON APRIL 5 OR SUBMIT AN AUDITION VIDEO BEFORE APRIL 15
Audition Monolog Requirements
  • Monolog from a play - there are some on Audition Prep page, link below
  • Length - 60-90 seconds.
  • Content - play a character you understand, identify with or take a risk with something less than human.
  • Introduction - please don't forget the introduction. Make sure to use the same name you use on your audition form.
  • Videos - follow the tips on the Audition Prep page, link below. Get it as perfect as you want before you submit. If you are recording on your device, open this page on your device and click the Submit Video link below and you'll be able to select it from your photo library.
